As I'm writing this I'm lounging on the couch in a old t-shirt and beat up sweats, just mere hours after I took these pics. Sunday are usually pretty chill for me- especially in terms of what I'm wearing. But today I decided to go to church with my Mom and figured I better look the part. Although this dress is terribly cute, its also very easy and comfortable. It looks great alone with a pair of wedges, but I tend to belt it. My only disclaimer is that I did make an alteration to the neckline of this dress; I wasn't a huge fan of how high it hit on my neck. This was an easy fix and well worth it, this is defintley one of my favorite dresses for this summer.

How did you make this alteration? I have the same dress and I have always wished that the neckline was a bit lower, what you did with the dress is perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out my blog. I replaced the band around the neck with bias tape of the same color. I folded the tape under and hand-stitched it in place.
